In a move to strengthen the indigenous medical sector, 303 graduates, including Community Health Medical Officers, have been granted new appointments to the Sri Lanka Ayurveda Medical Service. The appointment ceremony was held on November 3, 2025, at the Colombo District Secretariat Auditorium under the patronage of Hon. Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, Minister of Health and Mass Media.
